Description: We developed a hoverboard, strapped Freak Flag to it, constructed an inflatable ramp, and then just absolutely sent it over shark infested waters.

Do you miss that hop arms race of the mid 2000’s? Well, we're bringing it back, with our bigger-bodied, fuller-flavored, and more aggressively hopped IPA, that’s an amped up version of Freak Flag. It’s also on par with the hop volumes you clamored for in our fresh hop releases. It’s got all the markers of being a Freak Flag, but we supersized everything about it. We brewed hot side with dank bittering hops Pahto, CTZ and Comet, and then added late aroma hop additions featuring Alora and Eukanot and Eldorado.

Alora is such a new hop variety that the ink hasn’t even dried yet from naming it, and it's touted as being a hop that contains 60% oils/compounds not found in any other hop. And since we like to be FIRST at things, we thought we should be the first in this space to bring Alora to you. Think hop characteristics of dank fruits, which we then fine tuned in the brite tank with Eldorado oil. This beer is absolutely punchy, freaky and deserves to be sipped. We describe it as eating an orange slice, then drinking unsweetened grapefruit juice, and shoving a couple pine needles up your nose right after. Sounds kinda freaky, to say the least, eh?

WARNING: similar to many juices, kombucha, and other packaged beverages you'll find in the grocery store, this product has not been pasteurized, and therefore may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.

PLEASE NOTE: like other beverage industries have been doing for centuries, we mitigate the potential for bacterial growth in other ways, rather than to pasteurize and destroy the nuanced flavors that make our beer stand out from many pasteurized non-alcoholic beer offerings, though we do acknowledge pasteurization is the most effective way to inhibit bacterial growth, or potential for refermentation in the can. Risk may be exacerbated by prolonged warm storage, so to mitigate risk, always cold-store Self Care immediately upon receipt, and avoid exposure to extreme heat.
