We tasked ourselves to make a Non Alcoholic Tribute to the same beer release. In a sense collaborating with the general direction style and focus of the leaded counterpart. The full strength version was brewed at Aslan Brewing in Bellingham WA. I took all directions and flavor plans from their Head Brewer Austin, and off we went for our own spin.

This is a very pnw vibes lager brew. It was produced using premium barley, corn, rice and features two awesome hops in Amarillo and Idaho Gem. They add a subtle lace of fruitiness to the restrained light, crispy sipper. Not quite full blown WC pils, like some of our recent releases. We put a whisper of Amarillo oil in the brite tank to match a hop character emphasis without increasing bitterness. Think of it as channeling the beauty and subtlety that Mother Nature can have, we give a F#*k about that!

WARNING: similar to many juices, kombucha, and other beverages you'll find in the grocery store, this product has not been pasteurized, and therefore may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.

PLEASE NOTE: like other beverage industries have been doing for centuries, we mitigate the potential for bacterial growth in other ways, rather than to pasteurize and destroy the nuanced flavors that make our beer stand out from many pasteurized non-alcoholic beer offerings, though we do acknowledge pasteurization is the most effective way to inhibit bacterial growth, or potential for refermentation in the can. Risk may be exacerbated by prolonged warm storage, so to mitigate risk, always cold-store Self Care immediately upon receipt, and avoid exposure to extreme heat.
