Name: Bougie Pils.
Style: Fancy PNW-Sourced Pils.
ABV: Less than 0.5% ABV
Quantity: 4pack/16oz. cans
Brewer's Notes:
Around the same time we were releasing the Public Lands brew, we couldn’t help but grab extra ingredients for a big batch of Pilsner. Built around one of our favorite barleys (Genie Pilsner), this batch shares some malt DNA with Public Lands, but the ratios, methods, and intention are entirely different.
Since all the malt was sourced from Spokane Valley, we decided to keep it regional and pulled in hops grown entirely in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
We kept the boil bitterness gentle to make room for Lorien and Strata in the whirlpool, with a small dry hop layered in post-conditioning—a bit of a fancy move most pilsners skip on paper. But this one called for it.
It’s the kind of pilsner that celebrates rustic malt character while letting bright American hop punch do its thing. Clean, balanced, a little indulgent—just bougie enough.
WARNING: similar to many juices, kombucha, and other beverages you'll find in the grocery store, this product has not been pasteurized, and therefore may contain harmful bacteria that can cause serious illness in children, the elderly, and persons with weakened immune systems.
